Webinar: Global Resistance to Trump’s Trade Deals
9 Oct 2026, 09:00-10:30 UTC
Donald Trump has used his “reciprocal” tariffs as leverage to force countries to sign Agreements on Reciprocal Trade (ARTs).
The developing countries that have signed ARTs are facing serious implications, especially for access to medicines and public health, their ability to regulate big tech and online privacy, and a sovereignty loss in foreign relations. Given the harm these ARTs may cause, and with the reciprocal tariffs now invalidated by the U.S. Supreme Court, some of these countries are pushing back.
Hear from policy experts and movement leaders about the dangers hidden in these deals and learn how you can join the global resistance to Trump’s ARTs.
